Relocating a kitchen and maximising storage with a bright open plan design.
A FAMILY BREAKFAST SPACE MAKING THE MOST OF THE VIEWS INTO THE GARDEN.

Customer Requirements
The client wanted to create an open-plan, family, living space that would incorporate the kitchen, dining area and TV.
The kitchen had originally been placed at the back of the house, in the area that’s now being used for the dining room. This meant that they had very little usable worktop or storage.
With this in mind, we decided to relocate the kitchen into the old dining space, maximising the storage. This had the bonus of making the most of the views into the garden while enjoying the morning paper at the table.
The Schuller C cabinetry gave us a contemporary feel by using the 780mm high base cabinets with the 100mm plinth, increasing the storage without making the space feel cramped. The blue grey cabinets look fantastic against the Dreamy Marfil worktop, helping to create a light, bright and airy feel to the space. We also added pull out drawers below the seating.
The utility room, was probably the hardest area to design due to the size and shape of the room, again needing to really utilise the space. We stacked the washer and dryer and created internal pull-out shoe racks within the base cabinet to hide them away.
