Customer Requirements
When we started this project, we were briefed with creating a luxurious kitchen that left people stunned when they walked in. The space needed to cater to a busy family with open plan living to allow them to all use the space simultaneously, whether it’s cooking, homework or dinner parties.
Having such a big space available gave us the opportunity to explore many different options before narrowing down to the final design which encompassed all the functions they required.
By using a combination of the champagne metallic lacquers and a rich, smoked chestnut veneer we were able to create a striking aesthetic with great impact when you enter the room. A bold, modern look that is warm and welcoming at its heart.
The second part of this project was to create a functional utility space and a bar to compliment the kitchen.
In the bar we used the matching handle from the kitchen with darker, slightly more industrial doors and a stunning, illuminated Corian splashback to create a very unique and exclusive feeling space.
The utility room used a simple matte taupe door in a hard wearing, lacquered laminate finish and housed the washing machine, tumble dryer, spare fridge freezer and a large steel sink.
