Our client for this project was wanting to remove a wall between the existing kitchen and dining space to create a brighter and more open, multifunctional room where she would be able to cook, eat and keep an eye on her daughter while she was watching TV or doing homework.
There was extensive work required to achieve this including new flooring, underfloor heating, moving of gas and plumbing services and full redecoration. As a keen cook, it was important that we provided our client with a practical working space, as well as a beautiful looking kitchen.
The inclusion of easy-to-access corner storage mechanisms, convenient book shelving and lots of worktop space make this kitchen a joy to work in.
By using cashmere doors and a pale, veined worktop the room stays bright and spacious feeling which is further emphasised by the social aspect of the dining table behind the peninsula.
When you enter the space, it instantly feels welcoming and airy with a great flow between the different functions.
