A LUXURIOUS KITCHEN WITH CUSTOM FURNITURE
Kitchen Features
The kitchen is designed with Caledonia in-frame furniture, finished in a custom shade of Copse Green for a refined look. Key features include:
- Double Belfast sink: A spacious, classic addition, enhancing the kitchen’s traditional style.
- Patinated Brass Quooker tap: Complements the brass theme, adding a luxurious touch.
- Calacatta Gold quartz worktops: Elegant and durable, these surfaces elevate the kitchen’s sophistication.
- Induction hob with domino wok burner and Falmec extractor: High-performance cooking appliances for versatility.
- Neff single oven and microwave: Space-efficient, quality appliances.
- S-Box pop-up socket: Discreet power access that can be hidden when not needed.
- Large island with breakfast bar seating: A central feature for cooking and casual dining.
- Drinks and breakfast prep area with glass cabinets: A designated area for preparing drinks and breakfast, with glass cabinets to display glassware.
Utility Room Features
The utility room is designed to meet the family’s practical needs:
- Boot bench with shoe storage: A functional area for easy organisation.
- Tall larders and open shelving: Keeps essentials neatly stored and accessible.
- Single Belfast sink: Adds a touch of charm, while matching the kitchen’s style.
- Tall housing for washer and dryer: Integrated to keep the utility area streamlined.
Design Process and Client Collaboration
The design process was thorough and collaborative, ensuring each element aligned with the client’s vision. Colour-matched paint was selected for a unique shade of Copse Green, perfectly complementing brass fixtures to create a classic aesthetic.
Bespoke features like the custom chimney mantle and Crittal-style door surround were tailored to fit the unique layout of the space.
Jean’s involvement in both the kitchen and utility room, as well as the master bedroom, ensured a consistent design across rooms, streamlining the renovation process and delivering a reliable outcome.
This was my second kitchen renovation project, and compared to the previous well-known kitchen company, Four Seasons was miles ahead in customer service—I would highly recommend them.
The designer put real thought into the kitchen layout and offered genuinely helpful suggestions. She worked closely with the kitchen fitter and project manager to ensure everything fitted perfectly.
There were a few minor snagging issues, but they did their utmost to rectify them and make everything right. The quality of the kitchen is superb, beautifully designed and meticulously planned. Not the cheapest, but absolutely worth every penny.
